Basic functions
Adding audio source files to the Clipstream™
Audio Encoder 3.0 ("The Encoder")
Drag and drop method:
With the Encoder running...
- Locate audio source files (.mp3, .wav, .aiff, .avi) on your
hard drive or disk.
- Use the mouse and drag a box around the files to be encoded.
- Without letting go of mouse button, drag onto any open area
in the Encoder.
The files will be added to the Batch List area
in the main interface.
Add with button / File Menu method:
With the Encoder running...
- Click the Add + button.
-or-
Go to the File menu and select Add File
(CTRL-ALT-O).
A normal Windows Explorer window will open up.
- Locate the audio source files.
- Select the files by clicking on them. Hold down the Shift
key as you click on each file if you are selecting multiple files.
- Click the Open button in Windows Explorer.
Encoding with default settings:
With files already in the Batch List portion
of the main interface...
- Click the Encode -> button.
The files will encode and be saved in the folder location that
is displayed in the field beside the Save to: ->
button at the bottom of the main interface.
Removing files from Batch List:
In the Batch List area...
- Click on the file you wish to remove from the batch list.
Hold down Shift key and click
on additional files if you wish to remove more than one.
- Click the Remove X button.
The files will be gone from the Batch List.
Specifying the export or save to: folder
- Click the Save to: -> button.
A browse window opens showing the folders on your hard drive.
- Navigate to the folder you wish to save your exported Clipstream™
Audio files to and click "OK".
