If you have problems hearing Clipstream™ Audio 3
clips, read this page to troubleshoot common issues with trying to hear Clipstream™
Audio clips.
Requirements:
- Clipstream Audio 3 Encoded pages with
properly uploaded files
- PC or Mac with soundcard
Buttons don't appear
Clipstream™ Audio clips require JavaScript and Java
enabled in your browser in order for the audio to load and stream from the
web page.
- Do you see the button graphics below?
If you do not see the buttons then:
- Enable JavaScript.
To enable JavaScript
To enable JavaScript in
Internet Explorer :
- Go to the Tools menu
- Select Internet options
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down the list and make sure that Enable active scripting
is checked.
To enable JavaScript in
Mozilla Firefox :
- Go to the Tools menu
- Select Options
- Click on the Content button
- Check the box beside Enable JavaScript
Buttons don't appear even with JavaScript enabled
Clipstream Audio requires Java enabled in the browser.
To Enable Java
To enable Java in
Internet Explorer :
- Go to the Tools menu
- Select Internet options
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down the list and make sure that High Safety
under Java permissions is selected.
To enable Java in
Mozilla Firefox :
- Go to the Tools menu
- Select Options
- Click on the Content button
- Check the box beside Enable Java
If you hear nothing even after clicking the play button:
- Make sure your speaker volume is turned up
- Make sure your system volume is turned up
- Make sure speakers are plugged in correctly to your computer
