In order to view your Clipstream
Audio on your website you must FTP a number of essential files to your remote
server. If you haven't already, please go through the Quick
Start process to encode an audio file.
Requirements:
Encoded Clipstream Audio files
An FTP or web development program
Access to a remote web server
Locate the folder where you have encoded your Clipstream
Audio files. In that folder you should see the following files:
Without any of these files your Clipstream
Audio file may not play. (To learn about what these files are, please
see: Essential Clipstream
Audio files).
Note also the name of the .html file that has been generated. This file
will have the same root filename as your audio file with the extention
.html (openable by web browsers).
ex.
Open up your FTP or web development program and open up an FTP link
to your remote server.
Locate a folder on your remote site where you want the Clipstream
Audio files to reside. Make a note of where in the web hierarchy this
folder is.
Note: keep these files together or else you will need to rewrite
some applet code to reference them.
Upload all of the files in the default audio folder to the
selected location on your remote site.
Open up a web browser (ex. Firefox, IE, Navigator) and type in the
URL of the folder on your website where you have uploaded these files
and end the URL with the name of your generated .html file.
